The Philosophy of Life and Welcome to Paradise by A. R. Pugh The Philosophy of Life and Welcome to Paradise is author A.R. Pugh’s attempt to promulgate superficial sentimentalities. Let him introduce you to some of his monumental verbosities. They are not related one to the other but just placed at random. Remember that you have a wonderful and powerful tool at your disposal, and that tool is the “Mind’s eye.” So let us start with the individual that you know best, and that person is you. Ask yourself a few simple questions. For example: 1. What is my mission on this planet Earth? 2. The things that I choose to do, are they right or are they wrong? Now have a good look at the lifestyle of other individuals. What do you think? Go a step further and look at the events of the world in general. Why is there no peace among the nations of the world? What do you think?

At twenty-three, William Simon Baekeland was well on his way to becoming the world’s best traveled person. The “billionaire” heir to a great plastics fortune had already visited 163 countries, but his real passion was finding ways to visit the world’s most challenging destinations—war torn cities, disputed territories, and remote or officially off-limits islands at the margins of the map. He earned rock-star status in the world of extreme travel by finding ingenious ways to bring the world’s most widely traveled people to difficult-to-reach and forbidden places. But when his story began to unravel, an eccentric group of hyper-well-traveled country collectors were left wondering how they had allowed their obsession to blind them to the warning signs that William Baekeland wasn’t who they thought he was. Mad Travelers: A Tale of Wanderlust, Greed and the Quest to Reach the Ends of the Earth delves deep inside the subculture of country collecting, taking readers to danger zones like Mogadishu and geographical oddities like Norway’s nearly impossible-to-reach Bouvet Island. Along the way, this raucous tale of adventure and international intrigue illuminates the perils and pleasures of wanderlust while examining a fundamental question: why are some people compelled to travel, while others are content to stay home? Mad Travelers is a perceptive and at times hilarious account of how the pursuit of everywhere put the world’s greatest travelers at the mercy of a brilliant young con man. Soon to be an HBO documentary.

This book takes a fresh look at two of the most controversial topics in Hobbes's philosophy: morality and sovereignty. It distinguishes between the two versions of the covenant provided by Hobbes, one of which establishes a genuine system or morality based on the golden rule and the other which justifies the absolute power of the sovereign. The author defends the moral theory through an examination of the various alternatives, and the theory of sovereignty by testing it against historical experience.

Sorin Cerin (born November 25, 1963, Baia Mare, Romania) is a Romanian philosopher, poet and essayist. If Osho is a mystic in his aphorisms, Sorin Cerin is an existentialist philosopher, author of a new philosophical system called Coaxialism, but also author of philosophical poems, being an important existentialist poet of the 21st century whose existentialist philosophical poems are quoted by critics specialized alongside other philosophers, poets and existentialist authors such as Nietzsche, Heidegger, Sartre or Kierkegaard. Sorin Cerin is especially sought after by the general public, among existentialist poets and philosophers, both for his existentialist philosophical poems that focus mainly on Love, Existence, Illusion, the Absurd or Death, and for existentialist philosophical aphorisms, structured in several volumes, and previously published in various publishing houses, to be later reunited under the aegis of a single monumental volume, entitled Collection of Wisdom. This title first appeared in 2009, which together with the future editions of Sorin Cerin's Collections of Wisdom from the following years, brought him fame and international recognition, for which, Sorin Cerin, is considered to be one of the most representative existentialist philosophers, existentialist poets, but, also authors of wisdom, authors of philosophical aphorisms or thinkers of the sapiential genre, worldwide, and the philosophical aphorisms from this work, are selected in various publications or prestigious anthologies of the world.
